Hearthstone is finally live. Yay! Although I'm sure at least some of you aren't that thrilled. I mean, what fun is it if you keep losing?
What you need is a great deck. Or at least some power builds until you can get the better cards to build that great deck. Let me show you some of the places I go. And if you know of some I don't have listed or that you think are better, please share them in the comments.
The first place is http://ihearthu.com/ They have articles and guides, king of the hill, and more. Watch the dates on the guides, though. Many were made in February and earlier, which means some of their info is not up to date since some of the cards have changed. Keep this in mind and adjust accordingly if using their guide to build a deck.
Another great resource is http://www.hearthpwn.com/ One of the things I like is the ability to access information on great decks right from the front page. You can see the top decks, and different types of builds, then click on the build you want to peruse more, and you can see exactly how it's set up. Nice! Also, they have a "blue" tracker that keeps track of Blizzard updates, known issues, patch updates, and even player issues that need to be resolved.
Hearthhead , like Wowhead, has deck builders, and it also has premade decks that you can view along with strategy guides that explain how to play that deck. A good example of this is their Spell Damage Druid build found here: http://www.hearthhead.com/deck=153/control-spell-damage-druid
Now, if you are new to the game, or even if you've been playing since beta and just want new ideas to improve your game, Force Strategy Gaming has an ongoing series in which they test different decks, such as Murloc Warlock.
If you are brand new to the game, practice in practice mode. Practice unranked. Watch the videos out there, and visit the sites listed above. It'll take a little time, but you WILL get better.
But most of all, ENJOY the game. After all, if you don't enjoy it, what's the point?
